Hi Frank! I understand this perspective. It’s easy to be busy and too difficult to relax even though slow times are necessary, essential even.
Idle hands make the devil’s playground. It’s a good saying that scares people to busyness. A balance is needed. Just the right amount of slow and go is necessary.
“We hate being idle so we fill those moments with something — anything that will keep us from dealing with the pain of being confronted with ourselves”.
Those words are almost a poetic truth.
