We haven’t met before, but I think I like you a lot.

You make some excellent points:

And…

“If you don’t want to read something, fair enough. No one is forcing you to. But what I absolutely will not accept is being told that I, an adult, must not, for my own good, read a book, because you are offended by it.”

No one is forced to read a book and no one should be able to tell anyone else they can’t read a selection of choice.
