I laugh out loud as I read because I am certain we received the same “mom handbook” especially as it relates to this subject. Those who cannot offer a cough drop to a kid hacking up a lung feed them large amounts of sugar, processed no doubt, and have no qualms about doing so.

It’s okay to sugar kids up, put their health at risk because there’s this science engineered nutritional government-backed program that needs to succeed, even if it is less healthy for our kids. Honestly, I’m not sure I’d feed that food to my dog, certainly not to my kids.

Health fails and money is earned.

Absolutely love your piece, Jacqueline Escolme!
