I bet you’re right about her watching my house when we are not at home. Also interesting, your idea that she is lonely and her spouse may have died. Perhaps her children have moved away too and lead their own lives.

But, and it’s a big one….

If I was desperate for conversation I would want to be friendly. I would not accuse someone of a crime, that carries the lesser sentence of a misdemeanor and the greatest sentence of a felony.

There’s no olive branch of friendship there. At least not in my opinion.
