It is sad that handwriting is becoming a lost art. It isn’t mandatory to be taught in schools, although some elect to do it. Some studies show that cursive writing before printing unlocks an intelligence otherwise missed. I lay on the floor and practice with my girls. They think curly queues are fun. Especially since neither of them are taught this in school they need to learn this. How is an adult to sign his or her name on a legal document without cursive writing? Well, I could expand further, but that’s another post entirely. ;-)
