Stephen, I think we're unified in the pain of very different yet similar circumstances. When you say, "narcissistic, drunk-ass father" and "SOB", I assign all the equal equivalents in my mind to this woman who was my mother. This is still somewhat new to me, just over one year, so I am still working out loud through the pain and grief. And, in some strange way, some portion of forgiveness too. All are works in progress.
