Thanks for the applause, Caroline DePalatis! It’s strange how we hear of this violence in our schools so often that we desensitize ourselves from it. We are guilty of thinking violence happens to others at random until it happens to us. My eyes are open once again. We are guaranteed nothing and what we have can vanish in a second.
