Both my kids, both having had COVID twice, with different doctors in different facilities, recommend they get the vaccine. For a long time, we held out, and I’ve written plenty about it. Get the evidence. Do the research. Don’t do anything that could risk the kids, we thought.

While I’m traditional in the thought that the government stays out of our individual choices, this is happening already in the workplace. And just because it’s happening doesn’t mean it’s right.

And, if the government arm is forcing schools and workplaces to implement these restrictions, it’s a sad realization of where we are in this matter. Full concession that it is a slippery slope.
